In this episode of the Lomingo three minute show, our chief instructor Miloš presents the DJI Neo drone. DJI launched it on 5 September 2024 as its lightest and most compact drone at the time. It is built for filming yourself and everyday moments, with no remote controller needed.
You can fly the Neo from your phone with the DJI Fly app, or with voice commands. It also works with a standard DJI remote controller. With DJI Goggles 3 and the RC Motion 3 controller it can also be flown in FPV mode.
The Neo is made for vlogs, travel and family footage. It is not a drone for professional inspections or for flying in bad weather. It has no official water or dust protection, and it handles wind up to about 8 m/s. For commercial work we fly larger DJI models.
Even the lightest drone is an aircraft. Before your first flight, check the rules and the zones where you plan to fly. If you want professional skills, see our advanced drone pilot course in Belgrade.
